Write for me capstone software free do my enterprise risk management certification courses bell hooks talking back essay writer I expect this to be the last part in the series. Today we cover the fifth part. This is for undergraduate admissions, not graduate admissions. So to recap what was discussed in the previous part, we considered the case where a student is trying to decide between a private school, which is difficult to get into, and a public school, which is easier to get into. A possible deciding factor is whether or not that student wishes to go onto graduate school for their major. If a student intends to go into graduate school, practically speaking it does not matter where they go for their undergraduate education because where they get their doctorate from is so much more significant. But if they intend on having careers outside of their major and remain in the States, then they must attend a private school at any cost, or attend a school that is well recognized by Koreans if they intend on moving back to Korea. A good example is this; Dartmouth is a far more difficult school to get into than Berkeley. However, Berkeley is relatively more well recognized in Korea so that if for instance you inherit your father’s business in Korea or something, having attended Berkeley might give you an edge. I am saying that it may give you an edge as opposed to it certainly giving you an edge, because the level of recognition of private schools in Korea is on the rise. But even hypothetically speaking, take a school like Notre Dame, which is a very good school, it is very unlikely that the recognition of that school in Korea will surpass that of Berkeley. Berkeley is known to be difficult to get into, so something like this takes a careful understanding of the factors that affect the perception of schools in Korea. Also, for students planning on going to graduate school, there is no need to force private schools on them. Mothers also ask about research a lot. They want to know if it is true that liberal arts colleges are better environments for research. This is simultaneously true and false. If you are a student that considers research to be important, you must pay attention to what I am about to say. It is true that research at a liberal arts college-like private school is important. It is because research is one method in which a school cares for its students. Caring about a student’s grades is certainly one way a school takes care of its students, but another way is to offer a student a multitude of research opportunities through which they can acquire various skills. So from this perspective, among private schools and especially Brown, liberal arts college-like schools, Dartmouth, these schools that emphasize humanities, offer many research opportunities in the STEM field. But the issue is, relative to schools like Michigan or Illinois, these schools lack the world class level of faculty and research. To comment on the quality of the education, compared to schools like Illinois, Michigan and Berkeley, I have mentioned that Brown falls short. So in short, these private schools with deep roots in humanities offer many opportunities in research but the quality of the research pales in comparison to famous public institutions. Schools like Berkeley, Michigan, Illinois and Wisconsin, their level of research is very high, and they allow their undergrads to participate. Conversely, these private schools like Brown and Dartmouth, these liberal arts like schools, they instead focus the teaching aspect of education. They teach their students to afford them the abilities to be able to conduct research on their own. But the research being conducted at these famous public institutions are contributing to world class research efforts so these two experiences are very different. But of course the downside is that they offer less overall care of their students. So what is a school that offers quality academics, teaches very well and offers world-class research opportunities? It would be a Harvard-like school. So once again, Harvard, Johns Hopkins, Stanford, etc. So you understand why Cornell is such a sought-after institution and why I have placed it between Brown and Harvard. Cornell possesses every possible strength a school can have yet they are relatively easier to get into. Again, do not confuse the comparison I am making. Of course Cornell is more difficult to get into relative to schools like Carnegie Mellon or Notre Dame or George Town, though they are very good schools. I am saying it is easier to get into than schools like Harvard although it possesses some similar strengths. This is especially the case for STEM field students since Cornell has an excellent engineering school. So I hope at this point most of this information has been organized for you. I think I could elaborate even further, but some of you may fall asleep if I did that. What I am asking you to do is if you would like the specifics of two schools to be compared against each other, for you to email those questions at email@example.com. I almost made a very big mistake, I have not covered the National/Regional category. If you visit US News or World Report, there are some two hundred schools. But these schools are National institutions. These are schools recognized on the national level in the United States. There are two hundred schools ranked on these sites, but there are thousands of schools in the U.S. So to be ranked among the top 200 is not a small feat. So this category, ‘Regional’, is for schools that are only recognized on the regional level. I have mentioned that there are many public institutions such as Michigan and Illinois, Berkeley that offer high quality education, like UCLA, UVA, Wisconsin, Indiana, North Carolina, these very excellent public schools, Washington. But not regional schools. Regional schools generally accept anyone that has enough money. They’re for students who have failed to gain admission from other schools or for students who find themselves unable to move out of their home state. They are there to provide an opportunity to these students for higher education, but they may even be lower in quality than some lower than average schools in Korea. So I ask you once again, in the process of your college admission, if you have poor grades and are considering these regional schools because you plan on working very hard and transferring out of them then that may be okay. But if you are planning on graduating from these institutions, then I highly discourage you from making such a decision. I cannot recommend these schools. No matter how much your qualifications may be lacking and you may have a hard time gaining admission from American schools, at the very least it must be a national university. There are plenty of national schools that do not require TOEFL scores or what have you. They may even not require SAT scores. But if you are considering a regional school, you must pay serious attention to researching the school. I know some of the regional schools’ climate and quality, and they are unbelievably terrible. If you must attend a regional school, please either ask by leaving a comment on the video down below or by emailing me at xpertprep.com. So we wrap up the series at the fifth part today it is almost 10 minutes. Thank you for watching. internet of things vijay madisetti pdf Orange County Community College (SUNY Orange).
