Write for me capstone education consultancy write for me what is capstone accounting chicago style citation lecture bump-bump bump-bump part two with the Mamba I've had some more time to handle it inspect it closely check it out I appreciate all of its glory and the results are in for me what a great knife if you wanted to know what I think of it you can stop the video now man this little dog across the street they just got it and she is very annoying she barks and barks and yips and yips and it's starting to get to me anyway I hope it's not too distracting for you all but solo the Mamba if you didn't see the first video I got this from Brian at river's edge cutlery it's a great place to shop they get a lot of models soon in terms of their release it was nice enough to send me this beauty with the option of sending it back or buying it and I think we can all or all of you who have watched any of my videos we can all safely say it's is not going back it's beautiful look at that blade one of the things I really like about this are the grinds they're interesting see that this is satin in terms of its finish and this is coated with titanium carbon I tried a TI C end so you get that nice dichotomy of the shiny satin and then the coated grind areas it's just very interesting it's subtle it almost looks like a shadow effect but it's not this part is coated this part is not the grind is also very elegant but strong it's got this nice upswept shape comes to a very acute tip there and it's strong in terms of its thickness oh there it goes again barking you can see up top there if it'll focus for you then it comes to a relatively thin bevel up on top but the stock is not thin by any means it starts with some pretty thick stock there as you can see and it fins out a lot on the swedge up top which is cool and then it has this nice flat surface like I said which is satin and then this part is coated of course the edge is nice and shiny it is a Walter Brent Joel Pirela collaboration with Spidey made in Taichung Taiwan so of course you get that cool Spidey logo with the nice 3d almost 3-dimensional machined effect to it there another thing I noticed and the details is that the pocket clip is actually machined in that same manner if you could see that it's not just a flat laser etch it actually looks like it was carved out with different depths so if you were to run your thumb over it you'd feel some ridges some roughness because it's actually it matches the the logo on the blade it's a nice hourglass hourglass shape but it's a little bit bent it follows the curve of the handle somewhat see what I mean so that's cool I usually like wire Clips a lot as you can tell and I still do but I like this clip a lot you get a nice tool carbon fiber handle scale on both sides made it with skeletonized titanium liners there's the dog again with a nice sort of like a gunmetal finish there nice thick liners a nice liner lock that some people don't like liner locks that are somewhat difficult to access I mean if you were to brush your thumb casually along the lock it's not gonna just catch easily you have to sort of dig in which I'm fine with it's never bothered me and hasn't bothered me with the Gayle Bradley or some other liner locks that Spyderco is made not just spider call you know some designers keep that lock somewhat recessed from the scale without cutouts so no matter what you are doing you're not gonna accidentally disengage the lock yeah shut that dog oh I like animals but just not annoying ones anyway so s30v it's a good all-around blade steel you get their signatures there along the blade the fit and finish is very good you get the nice jimping there that matches um the thumb ramp as well as the liners it's very lightweight for its size not sure if you could see but because there is a back spacer but if if you could see that it's skeletonized inside maybe not maybe so but it is skull tonight it's very lightweight for its size because the carbon fiber titanium is very lightweight and those are pretty thick liners as you can see and they're skeletonized to reduce weight even further it feels good in hand very ergonomic you get these cool drilled out holes in the bottom here so if you really wanted to do a lanyard or whatever you have some options I don't think that's exactly why they're there probably a combination of aesthetics and maybe even some weight reduction but I like the look there was a standoff down here my guess is for strength because it's not a lanyard tube see it's just a standoff there's actually one up top to check this out see that cutout on the blade that matches with the standoff there so as you open the blade it wraps around that standoff for even more security it's a very secure lock up it's very rigid no blade play at all but for a knife that's just shy of four hundred dollars as a production folder I would hope that it would have you know some of these characteristics but it's got a great look to it to me it looks sort of like a shark it just has that aggressive but sleek design and the 12 carbon fiber kind of resembles shark skin to me just a really cool look a quick size comparison here with my trusty friend I just got back from sharpening you can see the mambas a little bigger huh let's line the back end of the handle up as you can see with the upswept bladed because its whoop down and swoops up it can be deceptive how it looks as I found out when I compared the tie stick with the Mamba which everyone was on top looked much longer but anyway so it's bigger it's not enormous it's not you know cumbersome it's not too big in the pocket because it's lightweight so you don't you know feel like you need to belts it does have this interesting grind down here as well see where normally the edge would start right after the edge begins or right after the blade begins I'm sorry the edge actually is blunt for a little bit and then it becomes sharp right about there if you could see what I mean it's like a flat spot which is kind of cool too to be honest at first I was like what that's a waste but it's kind of cool it's different see what I mean it's like a wedge down there the action is smooth especially for a flipper of this size I mean come on look at the kind of lever you have here that wasn't even a lot of force and it's still it just wants to open there's almost no resistance and as I said for its size it's very smooth this is one of those knives as you could tell that'd be good and the reverse grip but for me I might use it but it's not gonna replace my EDC it's not gonna replace my Mannix there's just no reason for - it's not designed for that reason it's a beautiful knife the carbon fiber is just beautiful the pattern is is very cool it's a little different as far as carbon fiber goes there's only so much variation you're gonna get because the inherent design of it is the same it's sort of a shiny satin you get on the hardware and one of the viewers brought up a good point that why doesn't it match the gunmetal liners and it doesn't bother me because the clip is shiny the satin flat to the blade are shiny and the gunmetal liners sort of matched the TI CN coating on the grind portions of the blade so it doesn't it's not off-putting but I can see what he meant there it is hope you enjoyed the glimpse at this beauty alright see ya do my ccna 1 capstone project for money Dowling College, Oakdale.
