Sample dnp capstone project manuscripts for money do my capstone educational group glassdoor sanitari catalano sfera prezi presentations so I spent three days up in Fargo North Dakota getting to know Brad and Chelsea the owners of a cheer organization called North Dakota leet I'll honestly say I had no idea what to expect because my free preconceived ideas of cheerleading our go team from the short time I spent with them they were the perfect Union yang of each other like Brad was as loud and energetic Chelsea was a little more quiet and reserved you know maybe taking them off to the side working with him and then putting them back into the mix but what they did have in common is that their ideas and direction of what they want North Dakota leaf to be is exactly the same I wanted to start this business because in our area there isn't any Germany her younger case but we wanted to get her to cut on the mat for cheerleading there's nothing here to really for all surgeons so this may be why we started another reason was to start kids at a younger age the Butcher was really cool from my perspective was you could tell that both of them you know can see the potential in the athletes and kind of pushed it off them even if the athletes I've seen them themselves yet the best example I have that this is on the second day they were doing tumbling classes and there was an athlete who was struggling to like learn a back handspring and she just kind of had this fear Brad and she'll seems to stop her in her tracks and I was like if you don't do this today you're never gonna do it so what we can do this we're gonna get this done so we've progressed to some of the older progressions got her you know feeling comfortable worked his way back up and about 10 minutes later she was doing back handsprings like it was nobody's business and that was just a really cool to watch saw that she could do this even if she didn't believe in herself every time they seem to take a water break or take some time off to move on to the next skill grab an athlete and maybe look like they were struggling a little bit and she or someone we need to work on the skill and take him off the side and give him some one-on-one and kind of get him caught up to the rest of the group and did that without making a scene so for me it was hard kind of watching it right off the bat because you never knew it was happening she was kind of doing it under the radar competitive cheerleading is no joke I have a master's in biomechanics and I could not wrap my head around some of the stuff they were doing there was like 60 kids all doing different movement parts all at different times but within the same like time it was I don't get it I don't know abroad and Chelsea can wrap their head around how to have this moving parts and then have them work as the one I just I'm still kind of mind blown by that the second day it became very clear that cheerleading is insanely athletic the first group was doing like circuits so they would do all these different of progression skills to do these harder skills which helped with their flexibility their power their technical progression so they can perform those harder skills and I'm not flexible at all and these kids were like tying themselves in knots and then the second group were doing the harder skills putting combinations with each other so they were doing like a roundoff back handspring into a roundoff back handspring back tuck into a run-up back handsome jack talk with a little kick and then to a handstand the brunt off back handspring with a back lay over with a crazy tuck like what so what to expect if you're a parent team practice is about three to five hours a week one hour will strictly focus on technique for tumbling jumping and stunting and most parents usually just drop their kids off there's a monthly tuition dependent on the athletes skill or team level you'll also be responsible for purchasing a uniform uniform attire competition travel will be dependent on the team mostly what team they compete on most of the competitions will be in the North Dakota Minnesota area where there's the possibility of nationals in Orlando down the road what to expect if you're an athlete you're going to meet a slew of new friends learn tons of skills from teamwork to tumbling to all sorts of crazy Phillippe's you don't necessarily need to know how to tumble before you get there they will teach you how to do that on multiple occasions when I was there kids were coming up to me and telling me that they just quit their gymnastics clubs because they just they loved North totally the exact amount of gymnastics that they wanted and they learned it actually faster with Brad and Chelsea so my goal with these videos is to give you an idea of what to expect if you choose to use this organization through my own personal testimonial with that said I believe you can find what an organization does on their website I'm much more interested in figuring out the why they do exactly what they do what is their driving purpose for creating this organization and that's what I hope to find in these videos so we're back to the beginning and I'm going to give you my two cents from my experience while I was there is North Dakota elite setting out and accomplishing the goals they set out for this organization are they doing what they set out to do in their mission statement and short answer is yes are they developing each athlete physically and socially through cheerleading do they maintain high level coaching have they given younger athletes the ability to compete at a younger age since in North Dakota most kids can't start cheering until middle school or high school which is a pretty cool seen a lot of three-year-olds and they were one of my favorite groups to watch actually and they have they made cheerleading a presence in North Dakota this year they have national meet scheduled one in Las Vegas one in Minneapolis if they can compete on a national stage that obviously made their presence visible in North Dakota which again is pretty phenomenal for only being in their second year so the week resonated with me is I couldn't keep my mouth shut about my experience up in Fargo North Dakota I actually felt the need to tell everyone I came in contact with not just about the insane skill and talent of these kids and the impact Chelsea and Brad were having on their development I was also preaching that cheerleading isn't what you think it is it's way more intense it is if I had kids or they had a program for inflexible rhythm lips wet guys in their late 20s I would sign up in a heartbeat I'm completely sold to be honest I want to run out there a couple times and just try some of the stuff they were doing and I probably would have if they didn't have this fear of them laughing at my in flexibility and lack of rhythm I like those I like those experiences that I have in life that just shake your foundation of what you think you know and that was exactly what it was when you start a business with the idea to improve the lives of the people that comes in contact with you can't help but want to be a part of something like that North Dakota lead is exactly that it's a life enhancer through the sport of cheerleading are you shy are you a troublemaker smithy aha high-five good
