Do my example of a capstone paper online

Do my example of a capstone paper online do my nyu cfp capstone course capital structure of infosys ppt presentation ´╗┐we would like to welcome to the show our special guest Darren Henley OBE who is the chief executive of Arts Council England and the author of the arts dividend so thank you very much for joining me today Darren it's great to be here Jenna thank you very you enjoyed your day so far it's been absolutely fantastic seeing the facilities you've got here at the University it's a really exciting building huge creativity oozing out from every pore it's really brilliant to see to see such a crazy place fantastic so for some of our audience here today who may not know much about the Arts Council Johnny give us a little bit of background about what the Arts Council do we're actually 70 years old this year and our job is to champion invest in and develop arts and culture all across the country so we want to make sure that we take really high quality arts and culture to absolutely everybody wherever they live across England fantastic so today you've been looking around I'll creative technologies here at the University of Portsmouth and you've had a talk of our motion capture and VR lab and you spoken to some lecturers and researchers about innovative projects that happening here at University of Portsmouth so what are your first impressions well I think one of things that really impresses me is that this is an institution that is leading the way across the country in terms of of the research that you're doing in terms of the way you're teaching students and also in terms of the range of courses in this area and I think for us we want to be at the heart of where creativity is happening I think there's a lot that people across the arts and cultural world will be able to learn from the work that's being done in universities like this fantastic so do you think Chris technologies are important to the arts and wine absolutely vital because we work with creative people in the end it's all about creativity and the world would be a really poor place if we didn't have creativity in our lives we wouldn't invent new things we wouldn't be solving problems and I think it's a very exciting so a lot of the work has been done in a building like this is around telling the next generation what they can do and opening people's ideas and minds up to these new ideas fantastic so at the moment there's a 10-day journeys festival internacional taking place in Portsmouth and the University of Portsmouth of partner at that festival which was funded by the arts council i believe so you can tell me know about that festival and what is bringing to the city i think one of the things we're really we're really keen to do is to bring great art into places but also to celebrate the great art in those places so it's really brilliant to have a festival that brings people who live and work and study here enable them to get out and see great island culture in the place where they live it's not something that's for somebody else or another group of people it's really important that we reflect the places around the country and somewhere like Portsmouth has a huge heritage and tradition but it's also very future facing so I think that something is really exciting so I think in your little for your book actually a little bit you mention that arts can change a place where we live so we've got that festival happening today can give me an example of where arts has actually changed a city or a place and maybe altered its reputation slightly because I'll spin introduce sure I think there's a lot of examples around the country but one that you might look at will be so Manchester for example which is now seen as probably the second city in England and I think they've been a long period of growth and investment in the infrastructure so building new buildings but also in bringing artists into place another example of that with someone like margate where we've got a new relatively new art gallery there the turn of contemporary and what we've got around that is a group of artists have come and populated the streets around that so it's absolutely changing the way of people place can think of itself and the way it could work in the future another example would be hole which is city of culture in 2017 in 2002 it was officially the crappiest town in England living it was big in the book town the buff guide have said in 2016 it's one of the ten cities you must visit in the world that's what happens when you invest in art and culture it can really transform a great transformer place so your book then we have got the arts dividend here and which was written by yourself and some of our colleagues here at the University of Portsmouth have been reading it and so we wanted to know why you wrote it and who was aimed at what was there a specific audience in mind well I join the arts council 18 months ago one of the things I promise to do is I get out and about around the country so I've spent it half of every working week not sitting behind my desk in London but actually getting out of meeting new people up and down the country from from Cornwall to Carlisle meeting the people actually make art and culture happen seeing some of the great work and I wanted to reflect on that so there's a reason to invest in arts and culture and we really do invest in it it's not about paying subsidies and the things that are failing it's about saying if you invest in our culture there are benefits in people's lives and that's what I want to capture in the book and I think you did that successfully yes it's fantastic so and you've written actually a lot of other books as well m and be merry telling a bit a bit by those why this one's a little bit different to one's even answer is yes my previous job was at classic FM the radio station so I was there for a long time so I raised a lot of books about classical music and that was about taking classical music and taking it to the widest possible audience and this book is a little bit more about some of the ideas around the whole of art and culture so I was very keen to talk about the experiences I've had and to actually be able to say to people who are interested some of them will work as policymakers in government local governments or national governments some of them will work in education some of them would work in the arts I hope some of them will be people who actually have the Arts in their lives and actually to say to them there is this big group of dividends in terms of improving people's health and well-being in terms of their education prospects and building place great places in building a reputation and telling a story but also because actually just having great creativity and creative people around you is in itself a really valuable thing a hundred percent and so finally thank you very much for joining us today one last question and how is your day been so far and what are you looking forward to in the rest of the day when it's been brilliant we had a big play with some of the virtual reality things yeah morning and you know creating these new and very different worlds around you it is really excited but also some of the more pure academic research that's being done here is also very exciting i'm going to go away from today thinking I think the University here is has challenged my thinking it's excited me and I think there's lots that we can learn from an institution like this and we'll put someone in practice fantastic thank you very much for joining me stay Darren it has been great to talk to you and I recommend everyone read your book as well always fantastic today thank you very much joining us enjoy the rest of your day here and we would now like to show you one of our four seasonal items produced last year by one of our third-year students for the TV channel they I don't celebrate the arrival of autumn do my white paper on latest technology City University of New York (CUNY).
