Do my capstone project college online do my capstone securities contact 10 day weather report for waynesville nc hey crafters it's Jan and with craft ended up in creations coming at you today with a really quick DIY wreath now all supplies that I've used I picked up at Hobby Lobby and the Dollar Tree and I'm gonna share with you real quick how I made this wreath I think it's really pretty um elegant and it's a cheaper version of some supplies that you normally could maybe get at Hobby Lobby that are the ribbon was much more expensive than what this was so this was somewhat inspired by some of the ornaments that I recently made and I'll link that video down below as well where I wrap shower rings with the same material now these little antlers were $2.99 at Hobby Lobby and I just love them they're really pretty as they are in the white they also had some brown ones where you could get like six in a pack but all their Christmas stuff right now is 50% off so this these were a dollar fifty apiece and they're white and sparkly and glittery and they're so pretty but I'm gonna try to make them a little bit different color that was some bronze glitter blast and this is sparkling waters and I'm just gonna spray it over them because I'm going to use them on white and I wanted them to stand out more so I just give it a decent little coating and it does not take very long at all for this glitter blast spray to dry and I just go over the back half of them I guess you could say they all point in the same direction which is kind of hard to do if you wanted them to kind of look like their antlers coming up from like a deer head but I just made it work by catty-corner and I'm on the wreath but I get them a pretty good little coating of glitter blast you could put sealer over them if you like but I don't really have a lot of fallout on those this is a green wreath form that I got from the Dollar Tree and this is in the automotive section it's a Sherpa blanket or cloth that you can use to dry your car with and in a past video I used it to wrap around shower rings to make these cute little ornaments to kind of look mimic a wreath so I thought maybe I would use it on a wreath form like this and make an actual big wreath with it so I just take it and hot glue it down to the wreath form and then just wrap it around making sure to overlap that blanket there's one area where I didn't over lap it well enough that I did have to go back and kind of doctor it a little and put another piece over it so learn from my mistake and make sure you kind of go over it you can even use a little hot glue in between to make sure it kind of holds in place but I haven't really had a problem with it on that part as much as I did where I just didn't overlap it so I'm gonna continue to cover this entire blanket if I had it to do again or I make another one I'll cut these in a longer strip you know instead of maybe a 1 inch strip maybe even a 3 inch strip would even be better and that would cover it a lot quick quicker now this is a little branch that was 249 it just looks like it's got snowy glistening on the pan cones and the needles and I just really like that so I'm gonna use my wire cutters and cut that extra longer piece off of it and I'll doctor that tip a little just with some hot glue and I'm kind of just looking on the wreath as to where I think it should sit and I put a really decent amount of hot glue on this I really love this little detailed gun basher Bhandar because it really hits those areas that I want clear to go this little pic was $2.99 at Hobby Lobby also I've actually already used some of the berries off of it and with the sparkling waters I thought this would add just a little bit more of that color in and give it just a little bit something extra and that's where this little detailed tip goes right in there and seats that glue right where I want it to stick those berries at now I'll lay this down first before I actually fluff the berries out and I'm gonna hold it down as you can see I've got my little rubber finger there I actually need one for my thumb two maybe even both pointer fingers and the thumb now this is a low heat or a low temp glue gun so it's not as bad but it still kind of does hurt a little but boy if I burn myself on the hot typically done before and I just kind of pull the berries out and fluff them up a little bit to where they kind of cover the wreath just enough where I think it looks okay and I love this burlap ribbon Dollar Tree is carrying this all the time now it has that white lace down the center of it and you get nine feet in a roll and I have used this for so many different projects I've actually used this to cover a wreath before so I'm just going to wrap it around the top of that wreath because I'm gonna use this as a hanger and I want to fold it over but it seems like there's little wire pieces want to hang out so I cut it at an angle and fold it down and glue that together and it also kind of gives a little something extra to stick on besides that Sherpa and I hold this down for a few seconds until that glue dries and I'm gonna pull it up and just make basically a big leap with it and I didn't do a video on on the very at the very end of the twine that I used but I just wrapped twine around the very top of this and knotted it so it could hang on a wreath hanger and I should have shot me doing the bow but I'm not very I'm not that talented at bow making and it's just a simple bow so I'll put a bow at the very top of that as well and I twisted the wire ribbon to kind of make it look like it was flowing down now here I did cut these pieces off at the very end where you can use these as ornaments and wear your eye protection because they flew and I decide where I want to set them on the wreath and then I'll put hot glue exactly where the antlers set on the wreath so like the longer part of the bottom is a really good place to put the glue obviously but there are only a few places that the antlers are going to actually touch the blanket and I go back in and just add the hot glue to those areas so one will be like that one tip and that's just to give it some stability there now I didn't go ahead and trim one tip of that greenery because I just thought it went up too high and I wanted to seat the antler in just a little lower because I kind of wanted them to at least be the same height on each side even though one was going one way and one's going the other and you can't even tell that I cut that piece off and I do this one the same exact way I put it where the antlers hit that blanket and then I found a little piece that was hanging out so I put a little dot of glue there and pushed it in and then I'll go in and add a little bit of glue to that antler so this is really simple I don't even know I'm just hoping basically it just gives you some ideas of other things that you can use because I do know that they have a ribbon that kind of mimics this but it's much more expensive than a dollar and you could definitely make it at least one to two wreaths with one blanket from the Dollar Tree and that wraps it up so this is an overview of the wreaths I hope you guys enjoyed please give me a thumbs up if you like these type of channels if you haven't already click that subscribe button if you hit the bell
