Capstone simulation project for money write for me capstone logistics address in montgomery ny ratp reportage france hey guys what is going on it is Matt from fidelity gaming TV and welcome to something we're gonna do a little bit new here on the channel what we are going to be doing is simulating the Sochi 2014 men's ice hockey tournaments so what we're gonna do is put some teams into the EA Sports world tournament in NHL 14 and see what happens see who wins so basically we can only do either 8 or 16 teams in this tournament EA Sports is dumb we all know that but basically in real life there's 12 we can't do 12 so I narrowed it down to 8 and I think I took out Slovenia and they didn't have Slovenia and that took out Austria and Norway I think so here is the rules that we're gonna be going by just making it seem like it's as real as possible as well as the two pools you can only do two in that three like in real life so sorry about that nothing these eight teams have the best chance of winning so there it is there's the two pools I also made sure that I controlled all of them so that can edit their lines because some teams had some changes like Mikko Koivu was out for finland and also there was a couple of things like sedin was out for Sweden and Johansen was in and some goaltending situations I wanted to switch up too so here's all the offense and defense and goalies combinations for each team go ahead and pause it if you want to see them more close up but there it is some changes I made basically Canada had a price starting with Smith as the backup but I had decided to make longer the starter and price the backup anyways after round-robin which is when each team is play each team their pool once Canada is three no Czech Republic is three no and chukka public really surprised me in this one I think they actually do this get in real life obviously the surprise isn't gonna be happening in real life but yeah both of them are undefeated USA is 2 & 1 Russia's 1 1 & 1 Sweden is 1 2 and O so it may be a little bit unrealistic but you see here at Patrick Bergland for Sweden leading 8 goals Alex hem ski he is leading for the Czech Republic and goals Pavel Datsyuk leading in points for the tournament for Russia Rick Nash for Canada leading with a plus 5 rating which is pretty good and for the goalies Halak has a terror we'll save percentage for Slovakia and then for the Czech Republic Pavlik has the most wins obviously and Hitler has the most losses were tied at least four with halacha Lundqvist and Rask but a save percentage carry price says the best and almost 100% is really good shoutouts Carey Price and Pavlik have won so pretty dominating performances by the Czech Republic and Canada so what we're gonna do now is here is the standings and the I don't know if you want to call them the the tree I guess it says here and basically here it is after one game you see us beat Switzerland 5:1 Canada beat Slovakia 2-1 so Canada and us will be facing in the semi-finals and then on the other end you see we have Czech Republic being failing to 1 not by much and then Sweden losing to Russia 3-2 - so be Czech Republic and Russia in that semi-finals so you see here US and Canada this is a huge game they beat each other or start they've faced each other in the final last year u.s. want some Redemption they get a goal early on from Phil Kessel you see Carey prices in the net for Canada which is interesting it's not gonna be Roberto Luongo and yeah us wants to redemption because they same came so close to winning gold last Olympics last Winter Olympics in Canada but Canada won it in overtime Sidney Crosby scored that goal and you see here Crosby scores this school right as I say that against Jonathan Quick and this game is tied up so it's gonna go here late into the third nothing will happen so the next goal win this game will Canada have a repeat no they will not us gets their Redemption Paul stays nice scores on Carey Price and that is a huge goal for the u.s. because they really do not want to lose to Canada overtime again so they will be headed to the gold medal finals so we'll take a look at this game whoever wins this game will face us and gold medal you see Chuck is so lucky or sorry I'm a Czech Republic is scoring first and then Russia will tie it up Kovalchuk and hem ski the goal scorers and after the first period it's 1:1 so obviously in real life the Russians would probably be the favourites but right here the Czech Republic are the favorites because Russia I think went 1 1 and 1 and Czech Republic went 3 and OH so you see here Russia they here getting a goal from a nice time off but Sobotka comes right back and scores Bob so it is two two now late in the third well someone score we have to go to overtime like the US Canada game dying seconds nothing happens so we'll go to OT as well and the winner of this game is gonna be the Czech Republic so they come through and avoid an upset so the Russians did give him a run for their money but for a leak scores in overtime for Czech Republic and sends them to the gold medal game canada and russia all better battle it out for third you see there it all comes down to this the gold medal game between US and Czech Republic I can see the u.s. in this game quite possibly but maybe not the Czech Republic and the Czech Republic score early Tomas Plekanec scoring on Jonathan Quick but US ties it up Joe Pavelski coming up big scoring against Pavlik so it's 1:1 now teams trading shots Czech Republic have a little bit more shots and as we enter the second period Czech Republic scores again this one's Martin Hanzel on Jonathan Quick and this Czech Republic team is very very good you see getting a lot of goals from a lot of players and you know they went three notes so right now in this game the Czech Republic's are favored but us is down dying seconds to the third and they tie it up Patrick Kane scores on Andre Pavlik and we'll go to overtime who will win the gold medal - on to the other way thanks we've got an overtime game winner they've done it they have won the tournament championship there you go everybody we've got a winner that's that final game and what comes with this championship is the difference in emotions the winners are laughing and telling jokes it's a love fest out there the losers so as you see the United States of America have won the US men's ice hockey tournament in the 2014 Sochi Olympics in Russia and this simulation could actually be true a US is a pretty good team and they could win it so you see their suitor is actually the captain for this team not pareezay I guess they're both on the Minnesota Wild doesn't matter anyways there he goes lifting it up obviously that's just the EA Cup not the gold medals but in the end you know by the way Bacchus did actually score what I did is I simulated this whole game and Beck has scored in overtime but I course wanted to get it on footage so I went and just went to a play now game and played a game with these two teams and recreated the moment so Bacchus did score actually I don't think I was just trying to make us win on purpose but back is actually this score so anyways us could possibly win in real life you know I have a very good team they may not be the super heavy favorites like Canada and Sweden are but they're definitely a favorite you could say and they're definitely gonna be fun to watch the whole Olympics certainly fun to watch I hope you guys enjoy this I definitely enjoyed making this and if you have any questions or comments put it in the comments section below and make sure to check out our channel check out all our awesome videos make sure to subscribe and we'll go ahead here and close it out with the u.s. national anthem peace do my enterprise risk management omb Phillips Beth Israel School of Nursing.
