Capstone project ideas nursing masters cheap do my capstone research curriculum guide case study format for hr welcome back to come through maintenance today I've got a janitrol air conditioner which janitrol is now called Goodman Goodman as what used to be janitrol anyway got a general air janitrol air conditioner to the fan motor that was bouncing around like crazy going to show you today well I was doing some preventative maintenance medicine tires just want to do some preventative maintenance how to show you first how shitty the deal is we've got a dangling capacitor going to secure that up and anyway I'll show you here push the contactor and you can see the major crack cracks in the lid and maybe here we go pushing the contactor it's really bad eventually just gonna fall in now it just so happens that I actually have them that I save from another unit so gonna replace the this all out six and one screwdriver works really good grab my lip way over there bring it over here probably good idea make sure this guy is in good shape first my god it's like a brand-new motor we've got to put the groundwork you another deal baffles a little loose I'll take that up work okay sorry that but yeah got her gromek there okay okay on our old motor make this safe do it comes in from here he's cruising it up push the contactor back in yeah everything's off it will discharge our capacitor holding the insulator to handle the screwdriver bridging the metal portion we take all this off anyway yeah and we'll be anchoring that up next is removing all the lip screws I got a couple chips to show you on putting the lid back on I'm taking it off it's very easy put your background is just slightly tricky is you've got this squirrel cage and such all around it yeah well I got called off for something else which often happens that is what is cooking say before looks like my screwdriver is getting a bit stripped out an order I need a screwdriver I've worked on a little too hard a lot of these have flat heads as well though so that's good get my head back it's much easier with you that forever well seize it power drill or socket set for these if you want to speed it up got about meat screws all the way around and the real trick is the lid back on so I'll show you that in a little bit oh my okay well it still is good it's just a fantasy very shaky so now I will just double discharge the capacitor and discharge the fan cap and then we're ready to take it apart here next step just slip the wire leads off most of my fans are 5 micro farad this one is kind of burned-out believe it's about 5 anyway disconnecting here wire nuts black one blue wire okay and now we're ready to remove the lid rather one now we'll lift up and then we'll guide the wiring through now look like a pretty pretty tired fan motor there is what it is anyway now in our new one we're going to do the reverse eat our okay so feeding the wiring through kind of come first this one's got these wire necks which definitely makes it a bit awkward but that's okay and before that ever this grommet special deal actually gets slipped over on the outside of the and protects the wires from rubbing against the Congo or against the sheet metal and now we can feed our wires through my OB trick me we're nuts but it's okay I'm sure we're not trying any knots here all right oh there we go okay got everything going through there as will is now we're going to pass our deal back on proof over the wiring and this just anchors in better protects the wires from rubbing against the metal Geordi colonists and this deal will slip just like so okay and now we can move our lid around very very tricky part both on the front and then around the side of this deal and my trick here is to take one insert it underneath and then turn it to the side just a little fun not not too much just enough get up and over now the other side will have to do the same thing I'll kind of come around back here just kind of patient with it give it a little light pressure down just kind of figure out where it's hanging up there we go and now we're set all the way and we're ready for our screws and wires someone's long brown wire which is fine we can actually run up to one of the screws here you know make sure all of our fields are up top it's a little better to tie these underneath but you can do it either way if your units are on a roof lighting it's on the roof so no biggie and actually just take this run into this don't like this long funky you can see that someone put some washers on this with new motor which is good because this particular kind of bolts don't actually move far enough so with the washers that makes up for the difference okay so now we're grounded and now we'll be able to put all our screws in anyway that little bit of turning deal sometimes you're turning from the top and sometimes from the side and just being really easy with it it's it's very very simple deal but it goes a lot smoother if you just kind of take your time with that and you know it is what it is with more than you can relax and just kind of let it go in the way that it's supposed to go in generally the easier it'll go a lot of things sometimes getting a hurry and more things can go wrong so better take a little bit one more in the back she has a bit more screws but it looks like jet does it been lost over the years might find some yeah get up already wired up wearing the next part you're Joe's folks you're gonna be replacing the capacitors yeah tired those capacitors are we want to match your micro farad size so my fan motor is a 5 micro farad and my other deal I believe is at 35 most of these are a 35 it's the Danakil unit which one out Goodman here I think I did not bring a new regular capacitor well what one is working okay so I'll just do a new fan capacitor here's a strap for the new damn mother Hispanic out let's drop this in the top here and our capacitor is working on the other side so maybe I'll leave it alone for now I don't know I'll give it some time hey I'll just test it out and see how we go go from there I can test the calf as well reading here's our new Dan cap the waters the brown wires and the brown white wire that go to the capacitor there we go in there he's gonna fall on anybody or come apart on anybody and now for the deals we can either trace back where these are going so the blue wire here is going to be our colored wire or white wire we're going to trace that up to where the enemy not we just straight up over the top here or I can actually take this off and run it oh I thought if I can figure out or I can just rip it off nice okay so the colored one was going to go to the white one and a box would go to black that off a little bit more a little short there okay we're ready for action plug the disk a disconnect back in test it out hardstark it's a little bit tired to anchor it there and contactor looks brand new so anyway you know could do that capacitor and hard start kit but all right taking a half draw reading once we fire this up clean up in just the black wire and we'll measure the fan motor as well and see how well we do anyway there goes a plug you disconnect back in and manually push the contactor in see how we dance around hopefully not at all but than I think the will work out once we put the lid back on yeah that's without a motor for the new one should have a much better year we'll make sure our fan letters spin in the correct direction and it is and I'll make for a much better summer I don't suck down oh cool call just because the fan is that it fell into the he net anyway we're good to go thanks for watching come to maintenance let's put the lid back on to clean things up a bit we're all set let's be safe out there it's beautiful Palm Springs day do my change page template in onenote 2013 Borough of Manhattan Community College.
