area with a population density of one person for 10 square meters that would mean a maximum population of 90 persons on each floor however to account for holidays sickness and other persons not present in the building we'll use a working population discount of 20% so the working population that we'll use for lift traffic analysis will be 72 persons per floor the design criteria we'll use will be a 15% 5 minutes at peak handling capacity with average waiting time not to exceed 25 seconds we will use minimum lyft car sizes of 1275 kilograms or 17 persons and for efficiency being an office building we will use a destination or call control system having locked in and from the dashboard we select new project we use the new project wizard to set this up give the project a name we're going to use the expert system to work out the number of lifts required for the building we give the simulation a name as well and then we put in the details of the tenancy we're going to use
